I think there was confusion because most of our regulars have only been involved in parkrun since we started our event and didn't realise it was a thing to have cake for 50 runs etc. One of the ladies did say to me she was surprised I was 50 and wondered what my secret was as she didn't think I looked it!
57.5 Degrees of Pain Mar 2018 1:55pm, 3 Mar 2018 3,654 posts	0 57.5 Degrees of Pain Old Croc and a brave team of volunteers put on a fine 100th event/ 2nd birthday for 172 of us at Elgin. Glad the driving snow held off until we were clearing up at the end!

Mark Mar 2018 4:16pm, 3 Mar 2018 53 posts	0 Mark I have just got home from Clifton, it has been a long and expensive day, I set out at 5am, but I'm pleased to have found a run that was on and that could be reached by public transport from Walsall. The atmosphere there was amazing and I don't think I have ever heard such a loud ovation for the volunteers.

wardi Mar 2018 1:53pm, 4 Mar 2018 38 posts	0 wardi I ran at York and muttered my thanks and stuck my thumb up to as many marshalls as I could. Also offered congratulations to the to-be-wed happy couple. Managed to trip/fall over after 3 laps but had a soft landing in the snow. Top morning out.
