Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

@HellsBells thanks for the tip. I did Braunstone parkrun today, but heard good things about Watermead chatting to locals. Braunstone was excellent today, lots of nice views and variety and a challenging hill.

How odd. That post has been sitting in my comment box for a week or two, even though I try to delete it. Only posting it got rid.

I did wonder about you managing a parkrun on a Tuesday!

In other news, a new one for me and my son as we went to visit him in Bristol and took in Three Brooks. Was this a replacement for Little Stoke?

Out and back laps on gravel track with a few icy puddles. It was quite congested but at least I got to wave at my son a few times.

I have 6 to go till I reach 100 different effects and the next will be in London ahead of the Thames Bridges Challenge Fetch meetup. The most convenient one is Battersea, but that looks awfully busy. Has anyone here done it?

I did that the week before. I thought it was a replacement for Little Stoke but it's fairly new so can't have been.

I thought it might have been that people who used to be involved with Little Stoke had been looking for an alternative location and some of them are involved with Three Brooks?

@Groundhog using the clear button above the text box will remove the entry. Deleting doesn’t for some reason.

Three Brooks is close to Little Stoke so has taken a lot of their runners. Its not the same team who used to run Little Stoke and is not a direct replacement.
