Being a sad statto, I'm trying to get all 22.xx. At the moment 11 to go.

I still need a 36 after 42x parkruns. Never tried to game it but it would be nice to get it before 500!

I have about 10x36 and 10x38 from my attempts to finish 37th.

I have 5x 35 and 6x 37, but never actually tried for a 36 by looking at my watch before the finish to slow down/speed up.

If you assume a completely random distribution of seconds, then you're expect to have 3 to go after 171 runs, and then 2 after 191 - so you're not too far off there.

I got my 58th at 197 (a little behind the expect 191), then 59th 202 (vs 221) and 60th at 206 (vs 281), so quite a way ahead of expected.

My most common are 2 and 49 (11 times each), and least common are 7, 22 and 40 (twice each).

At one point I thought about trying to game it - but there are so many variables (when did I hit start, when did the timekeeper hit start, when did the timekeeper hit lap, were tokens in the right order, were there any issues with results processing, etc, etc, etc...) it's not really viable.

Ah, I was talking about finish positions rather than stopwatch bingo - I think I'd done the latter by chance long before it was a thing.

With the finish positions, I was counting how many people were ahead of me at the first corner and then keeping track of how many people I went past/ went past me and slowing down or speeding up as appropriate.

I have managed to get both of those sets but would never have been able to count how many were in front of me. Just sheer luck

Yeah Andy, being short of three feels about right. The bit that does is where’s those three lie. As someone who generally has run just over 19 mins I would have thought 3,14 and 19 would have been hit, but if it was in the 30-49 range that makes sense.
