I'm quite fortunate that I work at our local hospital. So, jabs, health checks etc are always on offer FOC every Thursday to staff. Quite handy really. Unless you're an anti vaxxer, and afraid of poo an ting, I guess.

Woke up this morning to a message from one of my besties from growing up. His wife passed away overnight. Early 50's. Routine screening picked it up too late π’. Aggressive firm of cancer.
Stay alive. Get checked. Why wouldn't you?

Desperately sad to read that. Regular screening and an early diagnosis increases the chances of survival of cancer massively

Very sad. It always amazes me why people won't take all the checks they are offered.

If people think pooing onto a lollipop stick is invasive, wait until you go in to have your rectum re-sectioned or a third of your liver removed. The first can be done via keyhole, but the second generally isnβt
Please anyone reading this do not put off or avoid your tests π€
