Saturday morning TV didn't really happen much in our house.

Bleep and Booster (shown within Blue Peter) triggered my enduring love of SF!

I think perhaps I am too old for this thread! :-o :-p

I've never heard of most of these programmes, and those that I have are from when I stopped being a child, so I never watched them! Plus, when I was a child, as soon as I got in from school I did my homework before dinner with my parents, so I never saw most children's TV.

my grandad had a cinny film (not sure how you spell it!) of Muffin the mule!
I remember him setting it up once to show us
that would be from mum's youth (she's 73 this week)

I did my homework laying on the lounge floor in front of the tv. It was usually okay. My reasoning was I couldn't concentrate if I was sat at a table in silence.

Moving up in age a little, loved the first series of Grange Hill whose characters would have been round about my age.

That was immensely popular when it came out at my school.

I got pelters because of this 🤬

I wasn’t keen either, having for the most part long frizzy hair as a child.

My sister liked the programme but hated being called Crystaltips, because she had/has hair like that!
