um
Back in April I saw my GP with some skin blemishes. It started with a phone appointment, then a face to face appointment later that week.
I had a few keratoses that he recommended putting common or garden moisturising cream on. I used after sun, because that's what I've got, and they've more or less cleared.
The suspicious, possible BCC on my back needed a hospital appointment. This time, it seems BCCs have been moved to the Plastics dept, not Dermatology (where I had one done 5 years ago). I had my check 2 weeks ago, confirmed as BCC, and and am booked for a 45 min removal next week.

On the plus side, as per the lady who called me to check & book the appointment for the 'procedure', she organises Plastics Day Surgery so patients are in and out in 2 hours. Not check at 10:00 and out when you're done (6pm in my case) like the Dermatology Out Patients, who seemed to get everyone on the list in at the start of the day, then work through them in order of 'most complex' to 'easiest' from their perspective.

I like v'raps medical view. Yesterday was increased life expectancy for being a bit chubby. (BMI just over 25) Today's another increase in life expectancy for a few BCCs & keratoses.

I hope tomorrow is 'running and walking' is good for you!

The "evidence" in that regard is in my blog today, um ;) It'll kill you. And so will golf.

…she organises Plastics Day…
Reminds me - there's a great future in plastics.

Golf has never killed anyone, it's just that they all wished they were dead after watching it for more than a couple of minutes.

Read M R James. Golf is a sure fire route to a sticky end.

“Murder on the links” is another tale of golfing demise. Agatha Christie clearly thought golf a dangerous sport. Or maybe this is an example of violent exercise.

Ag was having a dig at her first husband who found his mistress on the golf course, I believe. So a dangerous game in more ways than one!

I've been looking for a mistress on the golf course for the last 3 years - no luck so far (I am widowed though).
