I bought left handed scissors when I was crafting as the indentation in my thumb was really sore trying to cut card with the wrong scissors. Got my nurse result back today so good to go for another 5 years. |

Excellent LG. Right handers are just weird. Makes me feel ill looking at them. |

Never did woodwork but going to an all girls school it was Home economics needlework and Art Gosh, we never got anything arty or crafty in the Netherlands. It was all academic stuff. I did end up speaking 6 languages though... just out of curiosity/nosiness which languages and can you still speak them all |

Dutch, English, Italian, French, German, Spanish. Yes, I still speak them all but only Dutch, English and Italian are native/native level. I would not be confident writing say an article in French or German anymore or translate into these languages but happy to translate from into my 3 main languages. I used to have a translating agency before I moved to the UK and ironically was recruited to the UK govt for my language skills. Only to have to do a language proficiency test 27 years later 🙄🙄🙄 My special subject: the use of the subjunctive in the English language and why most native speakers get it wrong. I was billed hundreds of pounds for the privilege too, but it was required for right to remain post Brexshit. 😩

I did a brief stint as an interpreter at the British Embassy in Moscow when I was a student there. It was terrifying. I could barely remember anything.
