The crowd started launching them back and it ended in a near riot. The one and only time I've had tear gas used against me Singer ended up in the Magistrates Court liverpoolecho.co.uk
Cerrertonia May 2023 10:04am, 19 May 2023 18,880 posts	0 Cerrertonia I was at that concert too, bigleggy, very exciting as a teenager, although my recollection is that a large part of the crowd were there for a fight and were throwing stuff first, and trying to storm the stage. We ended up spending the night on Lime Street station too, which was also something of an education...

No crowd interaction, unrecognisable songs, a voice so gravelly it wasn't pleasant to listen to. Trying to work out which song he was singing was the only entertaining part of the whole event.
