I find the swimmer's lack of uniformity of kit mildly annoying.

You look at (most of) the other sports and whilst it does of course differ in terms of requirements, the style and colour schemes are the same across the squads.

Except for the swimmers who all have different stuff - you'd have thought even if different swimmers have different kit suppliers, the olympic committees could liase with them to produce kit that matched the rest of the olympic team.

It's particularly jarring in the relays it has to be said and the US teams are particularly divergent.

At last, someone pointed out the thing that is number 1000 on my list of things to be annoyed about.

Breaststroke looks a bit crap and amateur compared to the ‘other’ strokes.

Watching the tennis, another match tie-break for Murray and Evans when they were so close to closing out the set. Can they do it again?

Andy Murray and Dan Evans (and Rafa Nadal for that matter) are good examples of where sports like Tennis being in the Olympics do actually mean something.

About This Thread

Maintained by Curly45
Couldn't find a thread so thought I would start one.

Who else is off to watch or who is watching at home?

We're doing Lille and Paris and a mix of sports. Currently trying to find travel insurance that includes ticket cancellation as some of the trains in the UK might be difficult and we have some internal French trains to do as well.

Also need to work out the new Paris metro ticket/app combo (Navigo I think).
