I joined my current employer on 4th October 1982, so that's 38 years continuous service today. Pretty much all of it as a software developer on the same software system.

A life sentence in prison is 25 years, and you get time off for good behaviour!
I think I joined the bank on the 4th October - I was 2 months short of 25 years.

Great service TR. I started with my first employer on 11th August 1975 and stayed with them until they shut down on 6th February 2008 - thirty two and a half years. I walked next door to my second employer and started the following Monday. I hope to stay until I retire next May. That will total nearly forty six years at Oxford Airport as an Avionics engineer.

Wow that’s a long time. I’d have to work until I was 76 to get 40 years service.
