I was planning to taking my own gels, to use with water, and have some of the gatorade in the final stages, as something different to drink.

Gatorade is OK, but you should ideally take your own energy drink and plan to take water on the way round from the numerous feed stations. There is a gel station at about 17 miles but random flavours and only Power Bar variant. I was handed a raspberry ripple and nearly threw up, quickly ditched it and took my own SiS as planned.

Thanks for that i usually train on Lucozade. Going to take my own gels too. Plenty of time to practice my fuel strategy spose!
