I had an omelette too. Not a mushroom one, though it could have been because I had mushrooms in stock, but instead I have made them into mushroom soup.

I'm going to make soup tomorrow. I will be using cauliflower leaves and carrot tops as part of it.

Coffee, fruit scone, time to go home soon I hope. Just need to take one more set of readings and if they're good send an email to follow 'em up.

I just typed my name at the end of this, then deleted it when it sank in this is not an email to angry scientists.

My mum is making my dad justify exactly WHY he does not enjoy watching Wallander with Kenneth Branagh.

'I just don't like him'
'Well, what have you seen him in?'
'He's in lots of things'
'Yes, but you never watch them'
'I just don't like him, OK?'

Going to have quiche and wedges for my tea. I have a choice of quiche - butternut squash and feta or goat's cheese and sun-dried tomato. (Morrisons Finest or Best or whatever). Not sure which to go for.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
