I speak Turkish cos I fancied learning a language and doing some travelling before I got boring and middle aged. So I went to Turkey cos a friend of a friend knew someone etc. Penguins are cool. I've seen them in the wild in South Africa. Now I sound like a reet nobber. I'll be saying I found myself and Eastern ways are the best soon. (They ain't bad, all cultures can learn from each other but that sort of orientalism is condescending tosh). Back to the mundane. Still on the mend. On a sofa. Might have a cuppa soon.
