Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

tea, sofa. toasted teacake with new love raspberry/chia seed 'jam' *

hope it's a good and mundane as possible day, LF

best wishes to Mr Jaks, sounds like he had a horrid weekend and not surprising you needed to sleep long, Jaks x

I don't think I've ever paid more than the £220 my car cost to insure last year, it went down this.

been nasty out so far this morning, but looks like it's drying up a bit

*have loads of raspberries in the freezer, mush them up and thicken with chia seeds and used as jam - bit seedy for my teeth, but tasty and better than sugary jam.

We have 2 cars, although one of them has sat in the car park at work for over a year. We have periods where 2 cars are needed but many times where it's a pointless expense. Now we use Callum's car on the rare occasions we need to be in two places at one. P.S anyone want a Citroen Grand Picasso cheap, needs a bit of work done to get it roadworthy :-D

Waiting for work to ring me for check in during my long term sickness. It's supportive so I'm ok with it.

We only have one car but neither of us work and we live somewhere where we can walk or cycle just about everywhere we need to go including the station where we have 2 fast trains to London an hour. Should we be unable to cycle we have a bus every 15 minutes from the end of the road that stops in town, at the station and then goes on to the hospital. We could probably manage without a car at all with a little planning. Though it would be tricky to meet Rosehip for scones.
When we had a campervan in the early 1970’s it was our only vehicle. Dad was much in demand for collecting groups of teenagers from parties.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
