Optician earlier for a contact lens check. All good. But just a wee change to prescription. Now -2.25 in each eye.

Quick peek at the rugby. Don’t see point in playing for third/bronze.

Catching up on Masterchef Professionals. Didn’t realise it had started on Monday.

Good things happened after I got to the hospital. Met with ExDragon and DragonSon in the cafe, after a bit ExDragon left and DragonSon and I stayed there doing some word puzzles and waiting for his girlfriend to arrive.

Then I got a call from what turned out to be the ward asking if he was there (I had thought it was the IBD team) and they said his blood test from today had come back much better than Thursdays one and he could leave! So off we went to the ward, packed his many things and we left (picking up his girlfriend from the hospital car park).

Is good to have him at home 😊

Good news Idris!

I need to go and pack my bag ready for my cold-water swim tomorrow morning. If I leave it until the rush to get out of the house for parkrun (I'm going swimming straight after parkrun) I'm bound to forget something crucial like my earplugs or gloves.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
