Dog walked, jambalaya made. Malt loaf with butter and tea. I always seem hungry when I’ve not slept well.

Watching a nature program on BBC2 about a man who studies bears. He keeps saying things like ‘most people would say never to get so close to a black bear with cubs.’ ‘She trusts me, she’s just nervous of the camera’.

It all feels a bit ‘famous last words’.

Back from parkrun stint. Been up since 4:30 so tired now, but need to go into town in a bit. More tea.

Parkrun was good including someone getting married today who was running in an aubergine outfit. It rustled a lot

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
