I'm having a breather from gardening as it's incredibly warm and muggy here. Sweat pouring off me

On holiday this week. Trying to decide when to contact my boss to see if we need to go to work next Mon - don't want to sound too eager to know if we've got the day off. On the other hand, seeing as I'm retiring at Christmas I don't really need to maintain the image of a company man (I do try to be conscientious but if there's an extra day's holiday going I'll grab it with both hands)

Tea, smoked trout sandwich, could do with another one. Also have bulbs to bury, but waiting for there to be some rain in the forcecast, it’s much to dry to plant bulbs here.
