Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Walked. Magnum devoured, waiting for the sugar to reach my brain so that I can make a fry-up for our late lunch.

The battery in the smoke alarm is getting flat so the alarm is doing that really annoying 'cheeping' thing. We don't have a spare battery so will disconnect the battery overnight and hope we don't burn to a crisp.

On a sofa, cup of tea. Gardening was on my plan for this afternoon but I fell asleep after lunch and decided it was too late to start then. I've now found what must be the first Agatha Raisin. It's 2 hours so I'll have to record some so I can cook my dinner in the middle.

You could go out and buy one LD, I'd call that an essential.

I'm about to use our last tin of baked beans. I reckon that's essential enough to swing out to Lidl in Maryport tomorrow to buy more, and while I'm there I might as well go for a walk along the coast.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
