Quiet on here.

Raspberry wires replaced and nets purchased for the berry bushes today.

Also re-potted the indoor plants in an effort to save the avocado that is looking very sad at the moment (such a fussy bugger).

Trying to find nice planters for the patio that we both agree on...nothing grabbed our fancy today,

I planted my first lot of sweet pea seeds last week.
Two weeks or so ago a friend came and helped cut back to reveal my snowdrops.
Nothing much else happening but hope to tinker a little every day next week.

Question for the veg growers

We have a good raised bed and I do like to grow onions as we use them a lot but they take up a lot of space .. Same with leaks

Can I plant things between them? If so what?

Also thinking I’ll try garlic this year any tips?

We try to grow onions carrots courgettes (in pots) lettuce and radishes both in pots too

Any other good suggestions for pots?

We don’t use potatoes enough to grown them as they only get used once a week for Sunday roast

Probably too late for most varieties of garlic, but you might get some varieties to crop if you get them in soon. If anybody has any stock left.

I never bother with onions as they take up so much space, and if growing from sets make no economic sense.
