I have had a plant growing in my garden for the last 3 years. I hadn't planted it so the seed must have blown in or been deposited by a bird. I have finally had a go at trying to identify it, and think it is a Gladiolus byzantinus or possibly a Gladiolus illyricus. Whichever it is, it does look pretty. :-)
