Lizzie Whizz
Hello. My friend is suffering from anxiety, mostly work related, caught in a cycle of not having enough time to deal with the anxiety because she has to do the things that cause it! She's a teacher...

I want to offer her some tiny ways to start shifting things - can you recommend an app or book, please? She will go to the GP but doesn't have time etc...
Thank you

I found the Ruby Wax books really good! I’ve got one at home, I’ll check which one it is but I did borrow a couple from the library!

Lizzie W this is a good meditation to get in to the habit of for your friend maybe?

How are everybody's hearts in this moment? I am finding the moment quite difficult with the birth of my baby girl bringing lots to the surface. Awareness is healing though and I had a good session with my counsellor this morning.

Big love to you all x

NRGEE
fetcheveryone.com/forum/exercise-and-depression-article-written-by-nrgee-62753/Just found this thread. I have long standing mental health problems. Please take a read of my article- link above. I am 52yrs old and suffered with severe difficult to treat depression since i was 15yrs. Last Sunday I took another overdose and was found and taken by ambulance to a and e who kept me overnight for monitoring. Am home now and still feel crap. I managed to persuade myself to go for a 4.53mile run at 12minmiling. This is all written in my blogs NRGEE, but blogs are buddys only. Let me know if you want to be a buddy. Haven't read this thread yet properly- but am so pleased to have found it. Am really sorry if I have upset you by stating what I did last Sunday- I apologise. NRGEE xxx

Hey Nrgee you don't have to apologise as far as I'm concerned but thanks and thanks for sharing. I'd love to be your buddy and sorry you have been struggling both recently and historically. Sending lots of love and energy x

I have never felt suicidal thankfully but when am suffering from depression which hasn't been too frequently recently I often get thoughts of just disappearing out the front door and not coming back.

My anxiety is not great currently. Is triggered by most social interactions. I am doing a retreat with Plum Village in a couple of weeks 'zen and the art of Saving the planet" which is designed to offer teaching and practices to cope with the very things that do trigger me.

Big love to you all x
