Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Sorry to hear this EP. It’s always so shocking and effects ripple out into communities. So very sad.

What to do about health anxiety ?

My wife has suffered on and off, but had a real issue about ten years ago as she went through the menopause. This was a tough time for us as a family but my teenage daughter was a rock supporting both her mum and helping me to deal with a very challenging situation. We got through that.

Fast forward ten years and now my daughter is having real issues of her own. It’s like a repeat of her mum and there is never the right thing to say

It is heartbreaking to watch and be totally powerless. Nothing I can say will reassure her and it hard to see how the GP will do so either. Google and twitter are not helping.

Really sorry to hear this. Will she see a GP? There is much better understanding of anxiety and other mental health issues nowadays. Wishing you the best as a family.
