Hi SF. May I recommend the Plum Village app also. It is free and has so many great resources and meditations to help us practice mindfulness and not getting caught in fear, anxiety or despair. Big love to everyone x |

I've decided that I need to start therapy again. I'm meeting up with my therapist tomorrow. Old habits based in life long generational trauma are damaging my everyday relationships and consumption again. My love for self is generally very low. Being in the world with all it's suffering is really difficult. I realise these habits will always be buried in my store consciousness waiting to be triggered it is why spiritual and religious practices are exactly that, lifelong practices. There will always be suffering. Currently my resilience to is low and I just know that right now I can't water my positive seeds alone. Admitting this helps in itself, asking for help, trusting others is difficult. Big love family 🙏 |

Having the self awareness to know we need help is an important first step. Being brave enough to seek that help and knowing what we need is beyond many. I hope the therapy gives you what you need.

I’m having a bit of a slump at the moment. Just generally a bit lacking in enthusiasm and motivation. I know I’m doing all the wrong things (eating crap, not exercising as much, avoiding social situations). I think naming it and sharing it will help so thanks for being here.

Always here half pint and glad of this thread. Especially at this time of year as I can feel the dark days dragging me down.

Sorry you’re feeling that way, hp. If nothing else, try to get outside as often as you can, even if it’s only a walk xx

Thanks all. After a low start I actually had an ok day. I think life just feels a bit relentless sometimes.
