It’s so difficult getting departments to talk to each other and knowing who should be actioning what, we really need our healthcare to work together and run much more smoothly.

The NHS is generally great but communications in general desperately need sorting out. I have a friend who only found out by accident he had been diagnosed with diabetes from a blood test, which really was shocking.

Presumably dictated and it took all this time to get to the top of the pile to be typed up and sent. Ok there was nothing on it that the GP needs to action but if it’s taking nearly 3 months for my GP to get information about my hospital visit, then something really needs to change.
