I’m surprised to find myself not having a problem with the term ‘active travel’ - walking or cycling presumably, as opposed to passive travel in a car. How they get buses into the former slot is a mystery however. I was nonetheless amused by raising car parking to fight inflation. That might need some unpacking. |

The bus doesn't drop you at your exact destination so there's a walk involved?

I'm struggling with raising the cost of resident permits to increase active travel. Too small to make you want to sell your car, flat rate doesn't put you off individual trips.

Is that not very much lighter than air? Best not use it outdoors in that case.
