I notice it is patent pending. Reviewing applications like that would likely drive you to light relief from atomic physics and relativity theory.

"Fashion is often considered to be exclusive, but Nike has taken that proposition to a new level by acquiring a company that sells shoes people will never wear, or even touch. The brand has bought RTFKT Studios (pronounced “artefact”), a British start-up that creates virtual trainers and clothing that sell for thousands of pounds. RTFKT’s technology lets buyers look like they are wearing these items on social media platforms such as Instagram and its collaborations with video game companies allow players to dress their avatars in their RTFKT purchases. ... In February, the company sold 621 rainbow-coloured virtual trainers in collaboration with the teenage artist FEWOCiOUS in just six minutes, earning more than $3.1 million. Some were resold a few weeks later for double the price, at about $5,000 for each pair. Other pairs of virtual trainers created by RTFKT have sold for as much as $40,000, or £30,000." |

[That's insane, Glenn! I wince at paying more than £60 for a pair of trainers I do actually run in - £40k for the Emperor's New Trainers? I'm Out!]
