Depends what you want, HOD. Pisa is easy and flat, in December so not hot, but has NO LOOS (check my blog, dec 2014). Rome is surely the most spectacular but I understand some of the surface is hard. And they are not called the 7 hills for nothing.

I'm in Italy from June 2016-17 so maybe we can find something together? (This is not a pass... honest!)
