You are correct, DiscoSteve , 100 of pages of valuable info culled :-o

Well, dozens of pages and a load of blather ;-) (in fact, there was probably a higher amount of info per post than the bulk of threads).

ANd I think people liked Venice as long as you don't mind some steps (all those bridges!)

No steps in Venice, but quite a number of short ramps up and down in the last 2-3m over canals. 13-14 if memory serves. They're not massive, and if you're still running reasonably well they won't bother you. Pretty damn flat apart from that. Only that last 3m is in Venice itself - the first 20m is on the mainland, mostly pleasant country road alongside a river, the odd village, a brief sojurn through an industrial estate, a few miles in the San Giuliano park takes you to 20m. Then the long straight bridge out to Venice, which is pretty much 3m, and very dull except for the fact that Venice is appearing in the distance, slowly. And then the last 3m are amazing, obviously.

I enjoyed it.

Should have said it was 2007 when I ran it. Always worth checking that nothing *major* has changed since '07 or '10, just in case.
