Gritts!
Salzburg is a gem. Vienna was my first marathon & I loved it :) Linz is even meant to be nice, right on the Danube.

Ive got Cologne later in the year. Going by reports online it seems to be fairly flat and fast with great support and top nosh at the finish. I do fancy Florence, Valencia, Salzburg as well though

I got Hamburg next, then Kracow in May and the 3 Lander in October, The marathon starts from the beautiful Island of Lindau -habour, then passes through the Austrian towns Lochau, Bregenz, Hard, Höchst, it then crosses the Swiss border at St. Margreten and continues across the Rheindamm back to Hard and finally finishes in Bregenz. At the Casino Royale Stadium :-)
