Gritts!
Just back from doing Reggio-Emilia marathon. It was an experience, windy with pouring rain that turned to sleet and then snow. Was a battle to finish. Even got chased by an Alsatian, luckily it didn’t fancy a munch on my 🍑! Route goes through the local towns with the start and finish in the centre, basically flat with pb potential, if the weather is decent. Seville next for me, was on the waiting list then got a mail yesterday saying place has become available. Will be 2nd time. Am tempted by Sanremo one year, first Sunday in December. |

Is that with a tour operator Foxy? Seems a lot of money. For 2023, I paid £1250 for 6 nights and thought that was a lot (plus race entry which was around £200). My hotel was literally minutes from the start and finish line, but I booked over a year in advance.
