Open street maps is almost certainly an answer - in that they have all the data and it's pretty much free to use. But which of the many open source tools and APIs available to use that data does exactly what you want, I don't know.

I dont know how 'free' some of the packages are fetch, but I assume you have discounted OS data hub?:
osdatahub.os.uk

There is a download of all if you credit, but also the API is sometimes free depending on product and use

I also thinking that Open Mapping is the way forward on this, the level of detail is more than adequate for most purposes.

Didn't know where else to put this. An online map that shows the location colour and strength of all the lighthouses in the world. Unfortunately the lights expand in size as you zoom in, but I found it quite nice to look at zoomed out. Norway is particularly well lit.

Definitely not a complete list. Which is a shame.

Does anyone use ViewRanger? I’ve been using it for years and have quite a lot of OS maps to use offline. It’s now being shutdown and being transferred to Outdooractive and to me it’s a load of rubbish. I’m annoyed that I’m unable to see any of my maps that I have bought…

I’ve swapped from Viewranger to Outdooractive

Wasn’t too keen on it to start with but getting more used to it with some recent changes. I’ve imported all the routes I’d created on VR and swapped my subscription so effectively have the same as I paid for in VR.

What are you missing?

All of my OS maps that I could use anytime offline. I don’t want to pay £’s per month for a Pro subscription for stuff I’ve already bought
