private GP? No idea you dont need a haematologist TBH, private might get thngs done quicker but can be a waste of dosh yer B12 is a bit low, but I doubt would explain symptoms fully have you had results of MRI
Also, this week , well not worth trying to get owt done
the kypokaelaemia bit is overstated, but you could have some potassium supps

Fellow serial malingerer reporting for duty
Curly, I was also borderline B12 deficient... I just went to Holland and Barratt and bought 500 mg tablets and started taking 2 a day. It has helped my neuro symptoms no end. Go get the stuff, it will make you feel better! Magnesium helped with stabbing pains in my legs and arms too!
ION, I have been taking shedloads of supplements to help with my symptoms, as well as herbal, i.e. natural, antibiotics and 6 weeks in I am starting to feel better! Neuro stuff nearly gone, less stiff, less painful... I sleep much better and I have even been able to go for walks and bikerides! Easy ones, but still, HUGE improvement.
Stick to your guns girl! Don't let yourself be fobbed off with Fibro/ME/CFS/MS!!! I too have to fight for my treatment/tests/diagnosis... Still on the waiting list for the neurologist, MRI got cancelled, then I had to cancel it Monday, as I was flooded in Now I am not having it till February
In the meantime, my GP has referred me to an infectious and tropical disease specialist, 4 February... Some progress is being made at last...
PM me if you are interested in details about supplements...

By the way, I have now been clinically diagnosed with Lyme disease, regardless of a negative ELISA blood test! I have had ABx for something else, so no antibodies...

No not yet. Cant get in with neuro either at the moment. Will call next week and hassle him as well.
My lyme came back negative and I had to endure my gp giving me hassle even for asking for the test so no point asking about being retested for that.
I am not sure about b12 tablets if I do have pa as I wont be able to absorb it anyway. I can still cycle but running is agony and ruins me for days. I cant believe I used to run 60 miles a week. Seems like a lifetime ago.
Glad to hear you are starting to recover though Hann - that is good news. Hope the infectious specialist is good.

ABx is antibiotics, sorry...
I will stop supplementing when I am better... But will maintain certain supplements. Interestingly, I was already on some to support the system because of an existing condition and my MTB racing.
I can't run at all, and until recently could barely walk, but cycling has always been easier
My Lyme test was also negative so I had to convince my GP yet again to follow that route, but because of all my symptoms, he had to admit it was the only plausible match... Fingers crossed for both of us!

I know nothing about what you're going through so I can't offer advice but hope it gets sorted soon.
