Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Thanks for the heads up...I had one successful ballot attempt (2011, deferred to 2012) from all my numerous ballot attempts.

I'll only do the virtual again if actual races aren't back on the calendar.

I see they're hoping for 50,000 'real-life' runners this year

[Sorry, that was in response to V’rap’s post about the virtual - in terms of numbers, think it was about 40,000 when I last did it in 2018, between that and the weather it was not a fun experience. Loved the previous two times I’d done London, in spite of the crowds]

think it was about 35K when I last ran in 2010
I think they accept 50K expecting 35-37K
If I get in I will try for a PB
If I don't get in I will do the virtual over the same course as I did in 2020 and aim to improve significantly
