The app gave me 3:05:50
Afterwards went to cheer some club mates who'd been running together all the way but were finishing off their last mile doing laps of a local park. Despite all of them having run exactly the same way some of them had to do several more laps of the 600m park. Think one of them did 3 or 4 laps further before their app triggered as having completed.

4 hrs 45. Thrilled with that considering the horrendous weather conditions. Plus 25 mins off my last London Marathon. Just drying out with an AF beer to celebrate. Well done to all Fetchies who ran today.

Huge congratulations to every single one of you.
I signed up for this to support a friend who hadn’t been running. Covid restrictions made it hard and with the marathon cancelled she was gutted. She then signed up for the virtual and I gatecrashed and dragged in another friend and together we took it on.
Weather improved 110% to yesterday’s (& overnight) rain and was great to start on dry conditions. She struggled from mile 9 pit stop but she dug deep and finished with sore quads, hamstrings and calves and 2 humongous blisters on both feet. But she did it.
She was worried she slowed us up and I can only hope we reassured her that we were in it for friendship distance and not time. Post run beers were magnificent and I hope to catch up on the stolen sleep last night (overanxious mind)
