Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The four closest parkruns to me are all 15-16 miles away by road. Since they're all very different, it's good not to have to choose a favourite on geographical grounds.

50 within 16 miles. I am trying to get around the ones close to me, but anything more than 30 minutes away takes considerable effort. An extra 15 minutes in bed means a lot to me!

To be fair 16 miles takes me to the opposite side of London, so easily an hour or more away.

It's the 12 within 6 miles that spoils me for choice.

SW London Massive!

...pondering about a short holiday in Singapore next year and they have a choice of three parkruns as of today. Whilst the East Coast had it's 200th run, the Bishan parkrun inaugural took place. All very orderly with 65 runners and the other two parkruns attracting 63 and 67.

(Son number 2 is out there for a short stay whilst on his way back from his NZ working holiday. However, the 730am start was too much, sadly.)

If you live in just the right part of South London, you have 10 parkruns within 5 km (as the crow flies).

Oh, wait. It's actually 11... but you can't live there as it's right in the middle of a golf course. :)

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
