I "ran" in a cross country race at Bakewell on Sunday. Very muddy (with piles of manure) and 2 steep hills on each of 3 laps. A gentle out and back along Monsal Trail will be an absolute breeze in comparison. And the cafe at Hassop station does a magnificent Full English

It's the same every year. It was quite mild on Sunday, normally they are steaming. I suspect someone at Matlock AC has a wicked sense of humour?
