Burnham & Highbridge parkrun must be flat as it is still my fastest parkrun.

If there is a tail wind for the last mile that certainly helps counteract the headwind for the previous 1.5 miles and makes it surprising fast.

Norwich must be a contender for parkrunniest place in Britain? Five parkruns within a few miles in a place with about 200k people.

Colney Lane and (the original) Norwich parkruns must be contenders for the closest together parkruns too. Officially 1.3 miles apart but it looks like the courses pass less than a mile from each other.

sounds like over 800 at Eastville inaugural from a fellow RD who was there 650 tokens and ran out. Approx 340 at Thornbury from the Ambassador. Pomphrey took a hit of about 100, don't know about AC, CS or Wotton numbers

Wow big numbers! We had 38 at Stonehaven today including 11 from jog Scotland Fetternear making the trip. My Dad volunteered for the 50th time and the Dad and son from last week came back 😀

800 for an inaugural- yikes. Anyone have any knowledge on how it was handled? I hope they coped and the course could take those numbers.

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
