Managed to get my hands on the full souvenir programme pack, last one in the supermarket 
Flicked through to look at the Yorkshire bits but that's all so far. There's a full map and a wall chart with space for jersey wearers names too

I think I might watch the start in Leeds, then cycle over to Harrogate along with the rest of the world. If the predictions of numbers are correct, it's going to be glorious madness.

There are TDF trucks and minibuses in Leeds city centre. One just drove past my office and I found a couple more as I cycled in

Just chatting to a patient who is coordinating the CCTV in Harrogate. Interesting to get a behind the scenes perspective and understand just how much goes into this.
She was talking about emergency situations, eg something non-race related but near to the route. They have been reassured by the French 'its just a bike race' and could be changed/cancelled if real emergency, eg large fire, arose

I'm starting to get excited now, and almost nervous. Will we be able to get road space near where we're staying? Will the route we plan to take to somewhere near the end of the first stage be so congested we can't ride through? Will there be any food left in Skipton? Wibble!
