Have you noticed that everything is getting Frenchified? Like by adding 'le' to the start of any word it becomes French?
I was was wondering if in France you add 'the' to a word it automatically sounds British?

We need some Tour smilies and plus are okay. I'm not one for stereotypes but a fella in a beret and hooped jumper with a string of onions round his neck would be good

We need a yellow jersey, surely? Even some modified yellow bunting would be lovely.

Really disappointing that Alex Dowsett and especially David Millar on his final opportunity before retirement, have both been left out of their respective teams. So only 3 Brits will start

And as I saw somewhere, no Englishmen, depending on how you classify Froome.

We're travelling down to Harrogate from Scotland for the day on Saturday. We arrive about 1.15pm and have booked a base at Harrogate school. Where would be a good place to see the caravan and tour go by as we're guessing crowds will be 10 deep at the finish and we'd see nothing.
We're quite happy to walk back up the route from the finish until we get a spot to watch but do any locals reading this have any tips where a likely watching place within walking distance of Harrogate School/Station would be on Saturday? Thanks!

I'm glad you said station as I was wondering how you'd get close to Harrogate by vehicle at that time!
I suspect the whole run in will be packed. The finish from very early. You'll need to head north towards Killinghall/Ripley, it's where I'm hoping to be (by bike). There's also a fan park with big screens in the centre right by the finish.
