They do realise what they've done?! There's enough cyclists out anyway at the moment!

The woman from WTY said this was meant to be a low key trip a bit like cav last week. No chance of that now!

Can't beat a bit of gentle stereotyping, can you? ;) ^ ^

The inevitable - no Wiggins at the TDF - bbc.co.uk

After reading the Froome article on the 2012 tour, this was obvious.

It'll be interesting to read the next instalment of Sir Bradley's autobiography.

And, in a ghoulish way, to see what transpires now that it's evident that Team Sky's personnel management hasn't been entirely infallible.

Hardly surprising news.
Assume we will see Wiggins riding for another team next year. Was he a one-year wonder?

I like Wiggo, I'd like him to ride with a different team now and have another good year, not that this year has been too shabby for him mind you . . .

Did anyone see Cav's tweet re anti-doping test this morning after he had eaten asparagus last night?

Wiggo came 4th 3 years before that (elevated to 3rd after Armstrong stripped of his 3rd place), and broke his collarbone the year before he won it, when he was looking like he could do well, so I don't think he's a one year wonder, but

I can't see him podiuming again, I think Quintana will hoover up any mountainous TDFs from now on, and Froome the more time trial oriented ones. Then there's Nibbles and Bertie as well... Top 10 finish? But at Sky he had Porte and Froome as lieutenants. Sky has too many top riders now, but unfortunately they are too professional to let a Hinault vs Lemond/Roche vs Vicentini type situation arise. A shame as that is what makes the memorable tours.

We need Wiggo on a windy stage somewhere that doesn't have scary descending, he likes the strategy of a windy stage and how it splits the peleton into fragments :-)
