Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It was the proper coke in my drop bag that kept me going to an extent (that and the cooler weather this year)whilst I struggled to keep anything down.

I've already decided I won't pursue a charity place. I'll leave that to entrants that want the places (not that I don't but I've already run it twice) . There are plenty races out there should I not be successful.

Best of luck all with the ballot.

going back to costs, was looking at alternatives πŸ€”and had a look at the 7 valleys version of 13 valleys

as far as I can tell, early bird entry is Β£120 - going up to Β£150 at an unannounced date, probably tonight/tomorrow before everyone else has the same idea?
PLUS Β£15 for coach to start and more for pre-booked parking or Β£50 to have the van at Lakeside for 3 nights. Except the entry system isn't working so I couldn't see what else came under extras.
Makes Β£150 all in quite reasonable

Under consideration, but only with a van spot, which would be cheaper accommodation than just about anything else

I'd half forgotten about this until now (and this may be common knowledge anyway) but one of the Fellsman aid crew told me - well I initially saw them - they put in loads of extra sugar in to dilute the fizziness. So those figures are likely to end up way off!!!

Wonder if they are sending out the invitations to enter before they send out the Sorry you’re not in.

Congrats to those who’ve got in.
