LOL Vrap. No mirrors in our conservatory either. ;)

I think you're right, Sharkie, having two of us using the kit seems to justify spending a bit more.

We have four people lifting regularly, and nearly all of my sessions have to be done at times when most gyms aren't open, though if I was determined enough now I could go to the new sports centre in Workington early in the morning or late in the evening. We're unlikely to use the gym for anything other than weights at the moment and the treadmill was an inexpensive one, so I'm sure it's all paid its rent by now.

A personal Olympic lifting gym would be great and expensive!

I have dumbbells and have enough weights to lift fairly heavy at home but not the type of lifting I like to do. The dumbbells will be more useful for power stuff later in the season.

5th Olympic bar?

Do you mean 15kg, Gus? Can't see what you'd do with FIVE 20kg ones!

About This Thread

... a weights wire for women.

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.

Here's a strength standards for women thing Duracel found for us
