Which book is that please, SPR? That excerpt looks very well thought out & constructed, takes full training load in to consideration.

PT has updated my strength programme, after a wee refresher on technique last night. Stiff leg deadlifts changing to rack deadlifts at 50kg, and back squats up to 45kg but need to start thinking about using the safety rails on squats in case of failure!

Oh my ladies! Tonight I have been to a climbing wall, I'm so chuffed the heavy weights really showed there worth today! Inclined walls weren't easy but I didn't struggle too much even lent back. It's nice to see progress show in other ways 😊 First time climbing ever and I loved it ❀️

Haven't climbed for awhile but it is good fun.

In my Thursday evening return to weights, I failed to lift light enough to avoid DOMS. Very annoying. Went up to 70% hindsight should have stopped at 60%

Today's PT session consisted entirely of deadlifts. Last week's heavy was this week's 3 X 8 reps (40kg) and I managed it
This week's 1 rep weight was 60kg and that puts me in to the "intermediate" category which pleases me muchly!

I need to work on my attitude as my brain is switching me off when I know I can lift heavier!

Loving it!

And in case you're wondering about that title, well, I like alliteration and one can be too po-faced about the use of girl/lady/woman.
