i think i'm going to frog the waistcoat. i don't like it in the yarn i'm using. fortunately i've only opened 2 of the 5 balls so i can take the other 3 back. and i'm sure i'll find a use for the frogged wool. even if i just make some cowl/snoody things and give them to the charity shop.

not sure i'm keen on knitting on these circular needles - it makes my fingers ache. and it's boring never getting to the end. although i quite like just being able to stop rather than getting to the end of the row.

Lorraine, you are WICKED!

RD, :(

But stick with the circular needles - your fingers will adapt to the different technique! Though I think using the tiny circular needles is keeping my finger tendons strong for climbing ;)

Dunno, Lorraine. Am I?

(I refrained from buying anything because only the full price stuff is 20% off and it still ends up costing more than I'll pay because I'm a proper cheapskate. And because I'm saving up for Wollmeise.)

I've finished my scarf. Yay.

But I'm not completely convinced by it, so I'm considering pulling it out (frogging?) and starting again. But will be taking a short scarf break to knit some dishcloths to practice different stitches.
