Thanks sprinkle. There are loads of others making squares for the blanket too, so will be a mixed bag when it's done, but previous ones that have been made look really nice with the different styles of crochet and knitting that is done for them.

Oh and it's amazing to crochet with V'rap. I really enjoyed using it, but I won't spend £4.50 on some at the moment, maybe it'll be a birthday treat for me!

How about that, M4P?

(I'm tempted myself - the greens are lovely. They also have some of the aran version in the sale.)

I like a bit of Debbie Bliss. I've just acquired 10 balls of bright red Rialto 4ply from meadowyarn.co.uk in the sale.

That's a site for anyone wanting to go to a knitting and craft show. There is one in London, Harrogate and Dublin.

For anyone into quilting - the national quilt show was just held in mid-august at the NEC birmingham, so you have to wait another year for the next show.

My mother hand stitched a quilt. Both my two brothers and I want it as it has a few hundred tiny triangles hand-sewed together. We already (jokingly) argue about who is going to get the quilt when mom dies.

Are there any quilters here who knows where I can get quilting designs to quilt into the fabric? (if that makes any kind of sense.) I came back from the states with a quilt I started about a decade ago and I really want to finish it a little at a time but need these patterns for the fabric.
