That's terrible, Tikka! Do get it checked out ASAP. Fingers crossed you're back to crafting before long.

Big (gentle) hugs. If you really don't want to go to A&E then maybe a phone call to 111 may be a good idea

That’s terrible Tikka i do hope it’s not broken, but A&E sounds like the best advice.

Take care, and mend quickly 🤞

Thank you everyone, I appreciate your kind words.

I don't want to go to A&E tonight, the waiting times are up to 48 hours (our health service is in dire straits, but that's a whole other conversation). I'm pretty sure I've fractured my elbow, it's very painful and straightening my arm or lifting it above my head is very painful, so I'll ask the chemist tomorrow if he thinks I need a trip to A&E.

I'm grateful that apart from feeling a bit achey I don't appear to have done any serious damage to my hip - fracturing it was my biggest worry.

It was so wet tonight that I almost didn't go for a walk. Wish I hadn't now!

So sorry to read this Tikka. I hope you’ve got some painkillers for tonight.

Your poncho was really lovely… I want to try Rowan felted tweed sometime I’m hoping Black Friday sales might knock the Rowan price point down a bit.

runnyeyes, I found it a bit scratchy to knit with but it blocks really soft and the stitch definition is amazing. It's expensive, for sure, but all nice yarns are, I find!
