Ah, you missed the whole 'nu-rav' controversy, then, you lucky thing.

There's an option to put it back to normal in the settings, but it's a bit hidden.

I don't mind it. I did miss that controversy, though I was there for the Support Diversity hoohah (I was really pleased to see Ravelry throwing its weight behind that cause) and caught one end of the anti-Trump kerfuffle. Considering they spend their life submerged in floof, fibrecrafters don't half love a good fight and flounce session.

Yes, she also has a matching face mask and there’s a few masks in the Etsy shop.

That is a great bag HB - is it a knot at the top?

My bags are on Etsy, an attempt to diversify from masks (though I imagine they’ll still be in demand for a few months to come). Daughter uses some I made a while ago, one for makeup and another for her contact lenses.

Yes it’s a knot - it’s a lousy photo. I’ve put a few other things on Etsy too - just scrunchies and reusable bowl covers and I’ll add knot bags this evening. Orders have fallen off a cliff since Christmas, which I expected, but I’ve only sold one mask in the last week so if it doesn’t pick up I’ll consider closing down - the odd one barely covers costs and seems a lot of effort whereas a batch of 15 seems easy!

Hello you wonderful crafty types

I used to sew a bit, many moons ago, but haven't done so for years. I have a voucher for John Lewis and am seriously considering a sewing machine.

This one has good reviews and is about my budget

Look OK for someone starting with the basics?

It looks good to me Bint, though I couldn’t see if it had a buttonhole function?
