I have some, just waiting on me getting enough confidence to knit it! Perhaps I'll find a crochet hat pattern instead.

Just caught up on sewing bee. Agree it was the right result, though all the final dresses were stunning in their own ways.

Finally the fabric I’ve been coveting for a few weeks has arrived. I saw it online but there wasn’t enough for the dress I wanted to make. Scoured various websites. Ordered it from what looked like a dodgy Chinese site and turned out it was! Then the original site had it in stock again, yay! That took another two weeks.

Now being ultra good and washing it before cutting. Does anybody actually do this? I never usually bother but this is really nice cotton, there is 4m, and I wouldn’t want to find it shrinks. Plus I have a cotton lining which I’m also washing so they don’t shrink at different rates, fingers crossed!

I always wash fabric first. Learned with some cheap cotton I made a skirt out of a long time ago. Made it, wore it once, washed it and it shrank!!

Do you stick it through the washing machine? I just gave mine a fairly quick dunk and rinse in the sink and a spin in the machine.

I always wash fabric first - generally in whatever way I’ll be washing and drying the finished garment
