Meglet
When I'm watching sewing bee I'm feeling rather behind the times now. I'm still using pins and scissors for cutting out, where they are all using weights and a rotary cutter!

Yes. I’ve noticed that Meglet. I’m starting from scratch so trying to work out what’s best to buy. I guess it’s partly what you intend making.

I wanted to have ago at double knitting.

Also learnt something called tubular cast on which is amazing. There is no visible cast on seam.

Felted it in the machine because I wanted to totally lose the stitch definition.

superb!

I have wool and pattern for a felted (fulled?) bag that I bought 4 or 5 years ago from the Woolclip (dangerous place to visit!) and haven't got around to doing yet.

I have also found a WIP that I started around the same time - its made is as far as my table by the sofa, but I haven't actually picked up the needles yet.
Actually, I'm a bit scared that knitting will make my finger joints hurt more than they do already :(

Ohhh. ☹️ Sore finger/ thumb joints are not good for repetitive knitting.

I just bought rough Shetland 100% wool for this.

Thankyou HB for the recommendation.
