I bought a couple of needle felting kits in Aldi a few months ago. I got them out this week and oldest daughter has really taken to it. She’s made two cacti in pots and a flamingo! I’ll try and get a photo at some point (the flamingo is on my FB)

I chose Aurora, but will be wearing it the other way around! I started the Siena pattern yesterday, and spent a while learning how to do the German twisted cast-on. I like it!

Wish I had fabric available to make draw-string bags for the NHS.

Having a bit of a nightmare with my 90 yr old mum's care at the moment, so to settle my nerves a bit, I got out a skein of yarn and spent a lovely relaxing time this afternoon handwinding it. It proved to be a tangled beast and I soon found out the reason - it was in bits:

Just a quick update re the 'scrubs' bags. I didn't think properly and just copied the same words that were on FB. The bags are for uniforms not scrubs. Scrubs are laundered centrally.

Our scrubs aren't laundered centrally, those of us working in the COVID clinic take turns to take all the sets worn that day home and wash them.
